Karuna Seva Community Medical Outreach in Maryland

With Amma Sri Karunamayi's blessings, the Washington DC Satsang, in partnership with Aastha Adult Medical Day Care Center, Silver Spring, Maryland, has been conducting free community medical outreach programs as part of its ongoing Karuna Seva activities.

Led and coordinated by Lakshmi Moturu, the first two medical camps were successfully conducted on April 18, 2026 and May 16, 2026, bringing together volunteer physicians, healthcare professionals, and community volunteers to serve the local community.

The camps offered free health screenings, medical consultations, dentistry services, nutrition guidance, yoga therapy, CPR training, and specialty consultations. Approximately 50 community members were served during the first camp and 100 community members during the second camp.

A third medical camp is scheduled for June 27, 2026, continuing this effort to provide accessible healthcare and wellness education to the community.

We offer our heartfelt gratitude to Lakshmi Moturu, Aastha Adult Medical Day Care Center, the volunteer physicians, healthcare professionals, community volunteers, Ajaya Moturu, and all those who contributed to the success of these service activities.
