Uganda Clean Water Project – Construction Progress Update

Significant progress has been made on the Uganda Clean Water Project, bringing safe and reliable drinking water closer to the communities it will serve.

  • Approximately 7.5 km of trench excavation has been completed, including the 2 km transmission line.

  • 5.5 km of pipeline has already been laid and secured, with installation of the transmission line being completed.

Stakeholder Engagement Meeting

The stakeholder engagement meeting was well attended by representatives from:

  • District Water Office – Community Mobiliser

  • Subcounty Local Council Chairperson

  • Subcounty Secretary for Works

  • Subcounty Health Inspector

  • Subcounty Water Board (7 members)

  • Village Health Team Coordinator

  • Contractor Team

  • PARC Uganda Team

This collaborative engagement strengthens community participation and supports the successful implementation and long-term sustainability of the clean water project.
